Wimbledon Tickets 2010

How were Wimbledon tickets allocated in the past?

Before 2008 the club received an allocation of tickets for Wimbledon based on the number of members in our club. We then held a draw to decide which lucky members got tickets.

So what's changed?

From 2009 the LTA decided to change the way they allocated tickets to clubs. Now tickets are allocated to clubs based on how many of the clubs members are also members of British Tennis.

Why should I join British Tennis?

The more of our members that join British Tennis the more Wimbledon tickets the club will get allocated. If none of our members join British Tennis then we will not be allocated any tickets.

Assuming the club is allocated tickets then only members who have joined British Tennis will be able to participate in the draw.

How much will it cost?

Membership of British Tennis is free to us until 2012 because Chieveley Tennis Club is affiliated to the LTA.

When should I join?

The LTA have imposed a deadline for the allocation of tickets in 2010 - you need to join by 30 November 2009  The committee encourages all our members to join British Tennis asap to ensure we continue to enjoy an allocation of Wimbledon tickets each year.
