Join Helen and Mark in a community initiative in January
22 Dec 2017

Two Chieveley residents, Mark Hutchison and Helen Singleton, have embarked on a challenge for early 2018. They hope to raise money for a very worthwhile charity "Crisis" by running a very "do-able" community challenge. It's a great way to get outside and do a little exercise in those early winter days with other like-minded people in the village.

Helen and Mark say;

"We have been talking to clubs and societies in Chieveley, local schools and businesses and any others who would like to join us and now we are talking to you to see if you either fancy;

  • Getting a group together to share the experience
  • Do it yourself
  • Do it as a family
  • Or come up with any other ingenious ways to take part

Full details are available on the Chieveley 50 web page.

Sign up and commit

We have a group Justgiving page. One person has to use their own details for a group or family. Pledge £1 now to show your commitment and the remaining £49 when we are finished. Or of course you can pledge all £50 upfront. The link to the fundraising page can be found on the website page. Or you can simply pledge any amount you would like.

We look forward to seeing you all on the 2nd January.  We cannot all run a marathon, or cycle the length of the country but this is something WE CAN do. Let's go for it!
