Our annual service to raise funds for this charity that has been supported by our community for around 30 years, will be held at St Mary’s, Chieveley, on Sunday 20 October 2024 at 9:30am.
In the last few years, Drs Karilyn and Richard Collins have showed films about the incredible work going on out in Muheza. They will be coming again in October to give us the latest news! Below is from Karilyn:
"This is Selina who lives with her Aunty. We met her at Kids Club and she is one of the few children who has been born HIV positive despite the major Mother to Child programme to prevent Aids Transmission. Come and hear her story and the stories of other patients and staff, and what a visit to Muheza was like this August with our four grandchildren!"
Last year we wonderfully managed to exceed our target of £5500 and I so hope we will be able to do the same again this year when the work is actively changing and saving so many lives there, with very limited resources.
We are supporting Muheza via the Hereford Muheza Link Society, which is a registered charity, number 1086887. Karilyn is a trustee. We so hope you will continue to contribute to this very valuable work. There are no administration costs and everything you give goes straight to Muheza. Chieveley's annual collection, in recent years, has raised enough to pay Edgar Ngelangela's salary, the Hospice Administrator and social worker, and has contributed to many other projects over the last three decades.
