THE GROUNDS AT THE VILLAGE HALL
The Rec Committee are often asked if it is possible to donate a tree, perhaps in memory of an individual. Given anticipated future growth of current trees in the Rec, in effect the grounds are ‘full.’ In recent years we have installed 18 benches/seats at the Rec, all made of recycled plastic. They have all been donated by individuals, families, clubs or organisations. Together with other improvements, we hope you agree how good the Rec is now looking.
We have an opportunity of installing two benches between the recently planted trees by the playground. They could be used by people watching youngsters play in the playground or watching activities on the field. They would be similar to those currently at the Rec:
